1516583 Draining curtain walling YOSHIDA KOGYO KK 21 Oct 1976 [21 Oct 1975] 43746/76 Heading E1W A transom 10 in a curtain wall construction is provided with means e.g. 43 preventing upward splashing of water from a drainage channel 24 arranged between a panelreceiving channel 19 and an inner, upstanding wall 23, there being drainage holes 40 in the channel base communicating with the hollow interior of the transom whence the water is drained via holes 42 to the exterior. The cover 43 can be replaced by a flexible cover (43a, Fig. 2, not shown) or by a number of short curves (43b, Fig. 3 not shown) one for each drainage hole 40.
