Abstract

1515762 Hypodermic syringe projectiles H V ILSLEY M S JACKSON and J R M HARDEMAN 17 Sept 1976 [20 Sept 1975] 38679/75 Heading F3A A hypodermic syringe projectile comprises a rubber sleeve 30 which is pushed back when the projectile strikes an animal to expose an outlet 26 and so enable a piston 18, motivated by compressed air in a chamber 52, to eject a drug from a chamber 20. Air is introduced into the chamber 52 through a one-way valve 50 formed with a flight 54.
