1515655 Screen printing machines E T BARWICK INDUSTRIES Inc 8 March 1977 09759/77 Heading B6C Squeegee apparatus for a screen printer comprises a reservoir 11 adapted to be mounted, in use, in a position spaced from the screen 27, squeegee means 12 mounted for limited movement relative to the reservoir in a direction towards and away from the screen, and a liquid flow path from the reservoir to the squeegee. This "floating" mounting of the squeegee allows the squeegee to take up any irregularities in the screen or the mounting of the apparatus. As shown, the squeegee means 12 includes seals 68, 69 defining, in use, a closed area of the screen to which liquid is applied. The pressure of the liquid acting against surface 33, in use, holds the seals in contact with the screen, and surfaces 85, 86 take the majority of the pressure, the seal mountings 70, 74 flexing. A regulator plate 44 having holes corresponding to liquid flow holes in member 42 is provided, longitudinal movement of the plate regulating flow.
