1515508 Feed device for a pressure filter STEETLEY MINERALS Ltd 23 July 1975 [23 July 1974] 32576/74 Heading B1D A filtration apparatus comprises a substantially cylindrical chamber 39 provided with circumferentially spaced feed apertures 38 adapted to connect with inner annular filtration compartment 40, and a hollow cylindrical member 50 movably constructed and arranged to cover or expose apertures 38 by means of apertures 52, and means are provided to jack a central cylindrical body 20 up and down (e.g. to release a filter cake adhering to an encircling filter cloth).
