Abstract

Warp beams.-Sheet-metal reels or beams for winding yarn wire or the like thereon comprise body portions 11 and ends 10, the latter having strengthening-ribs 15. The recesses 14 so formed, from the body portion to a distance outwardly therein, are closed by members 16, the ends 17 of which extend into the body portion and are preferably secured by welding. The body may be secured to the ends by riveting or by bolts, or by other means.
