Abstract

1512242 Piezoelectric transducers; reflectors SONTRIX Inc 9 April 1975 [20 May 1974] 14656/75 Addition to 1478068 Headings H4J and H4X The transducer assembly of Parent Specification is mounted on a frusto-conical surface so as to produce a cone shaped radiation pattern. In this arrangement the orifices are situated from the base of the transducer where # is the wavelength of the ultrasonic frequency produced and m is an integer. The arrangement may be used in an ultrasonic intruder detection system.
