Abstract

1511195 Triazoles and benzotriazoles N- substituted by arylaliphatic groups ICI UNITED STATES Inc 18 Oct 1976 43111/76 Heading C2C The invention provides the title compounds, subject to elaborated definitions and exclusions; IH-triazoles in which the aliphatic part of the substitutent may be interrupted by an oxygen atom, or in which the N-substituent is C 4-6 alkyl or cycloalkyl-alkyl; and 2-(C 6 -alkyl)-2H- triazoles. These compounds have tranquilizing, and (at higher dose levels) sedative activity. Starting materials are also prepared.
