Abstract

1510673 Temperature controlled chambers EUROPEAN ATOMIC ENERGY COMMUNITY (EURATOM) 16 April 1975 [26 June 1974] 15696/75 Heading F4U A temperature controlled closed heating space 1 is bounded by at least two hollow structures 2, 3, each containing a vapourizable medium and having a capillary lining 13 and an electrical heating element 4, 5. Each structure is directly connected to a condensation chamber 9, 10 (i.e. a cooled chamber wherein the vapour is condensed). The condensate returns to the structures via gravity and is distributed throughout the capillary linings. The condensation chambers are in direct communication with a buffer gas system 6 such that the temperature in the space 1 may be accurately controlled.
