Abstract

1509882 Interchangeable lens systems AGFA-GEVAERT AG 27 Sept 1976 [25 Sept 1975] 39978/76 Heading G2A A camera has a normal lens 4 and a telephoto lens 5, which can be located in the optical axis either alternately, for normal or telephoto photographs, or simultaneously, for close-up photographs. As shown, the lenses 4, 5 are mounted on respective slider members 8, 7, slider member 8 being urged by a spring 9 so as to bring lens 4 into the working position in front of the shutter aperture 1a. The two slider members are connected by a lever 10 pivoting on an axis 11, the axis itself being movable into a position 11' by means of a bar 6. Bar 6 is part of an indicator 6a having windows 6b, 6c. Slider 7 is abutted by a bar 3 which moves above indicator 6a. In the Fig. 1 position, telephoto lens 5 is in the working position, lens 4 is out of this position, and a pointer 3c on bar 3 indicates the symbol "tele" visible in window 6b. To replace lens 5 by lens 4, bar 3 is moved to the right, so that pointer 3c indicates the symbol "norm" visible in window 6c. Slider 8 is moved to the left by spring 9, so pivoting lever 10 as to move slider 7 to the left. For closeup work, bar 6 is moved to the left from the Fig. 1 position, so that the pivot point 11 takes up the position 11' (Fig. 2). Thus lens 5 remains on the optical axis, and lens 4 also is now positioned on this axis. The indicator 6a has also moved to the left, so that the symbol "C" now appears through windows 6b and 6c.
