Abstract

1509583 Spectacles APHAKE PTY Ltd 22 July 1975 [24 July 1974] 30645/75 Heading G2J Each multi-lens arrangement of a pair of spectacles comprises a plurality of lens elements 8, 9 arranged laterally of each other and having intersecting medial planes, the lens 8 assisting forward vision while the lens 9 improves side vision. A near vision zone 11 may also be formed in the lens 8. In the embodiment of Figs. 3 and 4, (not shown), two laterally adjourning lens elements (18), (19) assist side vision. The elements are preferably formed from a single piece of plastics or glass. In a further embodiment, Fig. 5, (not shown) the two lens arrangements are formed integrally with the bridge portion.
