1509092 Treating tobacco TC TSO 10 June 1975 [11 June 1974] 24849/75 Heading A2C Tobacco is treated with a primary aliphatic alcohol or the methyl ester of a fatty acid. The preferred alcohol is a mixture of 1- octanol and 1-decanol while the preferred ester is methyl caprate. The ester or alcohol is sprayed on in an aqueous solution also containing is combination emulsifier and surface active agent.
