Abstract

1508806 Optical apparatus VICKERS Ltd 6 Feb 1976 [6 Feb 1975] 5172/75 Heading G2J The Swan cube 20 and associated reflectors and plates 21-24 of the apparatus disclosed in Specification 1285184 are replaced by a beamsplitting device which includes a beam-splitting surface 13 and an uneven plurality of reflecting surfaces which direct the divided beams along respective paths back to the surface 13, one of the reflecting surfaces 19 being rotatable to deflect the two paths. One of the divided beams may be blocked by a shutter 20 or by the use of polarizers.
