Abstract

1508777 Fluidised particle transfer EXXON RESEARCH & ENG CO 23 May 1975 [23 May 1974] 23069/74 Heading B1F Particles are transferred from fluidised bed 15 to fluidised bed 23 via a transfer chamber 11 into which fluidising gas is fed from 18, the entrance to chamber 11 being an underflow weir 19, and the exit being an overflow weir 20, and particles leave bed 23 via the underflow weir shown between baffles 26 and 27, chamber 11 being the hole communication between beds 15 and 23. Adjacent fluidised beds may be used for catalytic cracking and catalyst regeneration respectively.
