Abstract

1508075 Darts ROBAN JIG & TOOL CO (UK) Ltd 3 March 1976 08500176 Heading A6S A stub shaft 16 mounting dart flights 20 is journalled in a main shaft 12 secured to or integral with a dart barrel 10. The stub shaft 16 has a pin 15 at its forward end with an enlargement 17 which is a press fit in a bore 14 of the main shaft 12. Four flights 20, having chamfered rear edges 21, are friction fitted between jaws at the rear of the stub shaft, the jaws forming slots 18 with ribs 19 between which the flights are slidden. The main shaft, &c. may be moulded from plastics. When the dart has been thrown at and lodged upon a dartboard, if a following dart hits the chamfered edge 21 of one of the flights 20, the stub shaft 16, &c. is turned in the main shaft 12.
