Abstract

1508060 Trunking COLT INTERNATIONAL Ltd 12 Nov 1976 [22 Nov 1975] 48114/75 Heading F2P Trunking is composed of adjacent trunking sections interconnected by a completely encircling strap 11 fixed to adjacent ends of each pair of adjacent trunking sections, each section comprising four, separate, generally flat side wall elements 10 having interlocking formations 12, 13 at their longitudinal side edges, releasably attaching the side wall elements together edge to edge, each element 10 having a strap portion 11 along one of its transverse side edges, the strap portions having interlocking formations 20, 21 at their two ends respectively, each releasably interlocking with a strap portion end formation at the adjacent end of the strap portion of the adjacent side wall element when the side wall elements are assembled. Preferably the interlocking formations 12, 13 and 20, 21 are interlocked by relative movement of adjacent side wall elements 10 in the longitudinal direction of the ducting as seen in Fig. 1. Adjacent trunking sections are joined together through the medium of encircling straps 11 in conventional fashion, e.g. by riveting.
