1507622 Cakeboards AMALGAMATED MINING & TRADING Ltd 8 Dec 1976 [23 Jan 1976] 02632/76 Heading A4A A plastics cakeboard comprises oppositely facing trays 10, 11 that are telescoped and secured together, and strengthened by an internal plate 15 and at least one corrugated expanded folded or otherwise deformed structure 16. The structure 16 may comprise a strip whose folds extend radially or chordally. Alternatively the structure may be a honeycomb or a sheet with domes or bowls moulded therein.
