Abstract
1505766 Friction clutches MOTORENUND TURBINEN-UNION FRIEDRICHSHAFEN GmbH 21 May 1975 [28 June 1974] 21958/75 Heading F2C In an hydraulically operated multiplate friction clutch, pins 24 freely slidable in bores in an actuator ring 20 limit the total clearance between the clutch discs 14, 17 during disengagement. As shown, in a double clutch for reverse gear, the actuator 20 is biased to a central neutral position by springs 21 and pressure oil is selectively fed through ducts 22, 23- to engage one of the clutches. The dis- engaging movement of the presser plate of the other clutch being limited by the pins 24.
