1504286 Web attachments NORPRINT Ltd 22 May 1975 [30 May 1974] 23951/74 Heading B8R An adhesive tab for joining an outer turn of a web to its roll and for subsequently splicing two web ends together comprises two pieces 2, 4, Fig. 1, joined in face-to-face relationship, the outer face of each piece carrying an adhesive and a backing layer 8, Fig. 3, folded about a line of weakness 10 covering the adhesive in the outer faces. The joining of the pieces may be carried out by a row of adhesive spots 6 extending transversely of the line of weakness 10.
