Abstract
1504283 Lead zirconate titanate MULLARD Ltd 17 Feb 1975 [25 March 1974] 13086/74 Headings C1A and C1J [Also in Division H1] A pyroelectric detector has a ceramic body comprising lead zirconate titanate in which the atomic ratio of Zr to Ti is between 63/37 and 80/20, and has La between 4¢ to 9 and Mn between ¢ to 6 atomic per cent. A slice 8 of the ceramic is provided with gold electrodes and mounted on a support 11 using a conductive adhesive and is contained in a housing behind an IR-transparent window. Various examples of compositions of the ceramic are given.
