Abstract

1504145 Pallet collar hinges J T PARKES & SONS Ltd 9 Feb 1976 [12 Feb 1975] 5915/75 Heading E2F Pallet collars, formed by hingedly securing four walls 10, 11. 12, 13 together, have corner hinges comprising plates 20, 21 which are each provided with a set of knuckles 23, 24 linked by a hinge pin 25 which is free to move rotationally and axially with respect to each set; the axial length of each knuckle of one set being less than the axial length of the space between the knuckles of the other set to allow axial displacement. The plates are angled to mount onto the wall corners and the hinges allow the collar to be folded flat; locating lugs 22 engage a pallet 18 to form a container.
