Abstract

1503608 Electrical machine rotors SIEMENS AG 18 April 1975 [6 May 1974] 16211/75 Heading H2A In an electrical machine rotor comprising an inner part 2, an outer part 18, and an intermediate part 6 having recesses 7 for a winding 9, an outer region of the intermediate part 6, and/or the outer part 18, is/are connected to the inner part 2, in force-transmitting manner via radially extending connectors 16 separating the recesses 7; centrifugal forces applied to the winding 9 and to the intermediate part 6 in use of the machine are thereby resisted. The winding 9 may be super-cooled, and part 6 may be of stainless steel, titanium or plastics fibre material.
