Abstract

1502797 Reconstituted tobacco SUMITOMO CHEMICAL CO Ltd and HAYASHIBARA BIOCHEMICAL LABORATORIES INC 24 June 1975 [29 June 1974] 26775/75 Heading A2C Pullulan or a pullulan derivative is used as a binder in producing reconstituted tobacco. The weight ratio of pullulan to tobacco is in the range 0.1:100 to 500:100. The pullulan derivative is preferably esterified or etherified pullulan.
