Abstract

1502757 Inhibitor for tobacco axillary buds KAO SOAP CO Ltd 1 Nov 1976 [21 Nov 1975] 45291/76 Heading C1B Tobacco axillary buds are inhibited with a mixture of (a) 6-hydroxy-3-(2H)-pyridazinone and/or a salt thereof, and (b) a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester having 10-40 ethoxy units/molecule and 1-3 aliphatic alkyl groups/- molecule, each such group having 8-22 carbon atoms. The total concentration of (a) is preferably 0À05-1À5 wt. per cent and of (b) 0À3-5À0 wt. per cent. The mixture may be dissolved or suspended in water.
