Abstract

1502493 Bath-mounted tray &c. supports; trays clamped to baths BONSACK BATHS Ltd 30 March 1976 [14 April 1975] 15174/75 Headings A4H and A4N A device suitable for supporting a tray 1 within a bath (2), Fig. 2 (not shown), comprises a swing arm having a vertical portion 3 located within a tube 5 secured in an opening in the edge (7) of the bath, and a horizontal portion 4, the portion 3 being slidable between a bottom position in which a stop limits the angular rotation of the arm to prevent the tray hitting the side of the bath, and a top position in which an annular guide 13 allows greater rotational freedom of the arm. In the bottom position, rotation of the arm is limited by a stop 11 engaging a cut-away portion 10 of the tube. The tube is secured in position by a collar 9 and a plate 8. The descent of the arm is controlled by a friction washer 14 or by a pneumatic damping device.
