1502439 Apparatus for lining ingot moulds J B LABATE 1 Aug 1975 32273/76 Heading B3F [Also in Division B4] A tool for holding and positioning in an ingot mould a side board holding device of elongate form and having a U-shaped intermediate section 18 comprises an elongate handle 10 and a pair of flat faced, rectangular jaws 11, 12 one of which 11 is secured in outwardly extending relation to one end of said handle 10, means 13 movably attaching the other jaw 12 to the handle in spaced parallel relation to the secured jaw 11, a raised member 14 on the flat face of the jaw 11 opposite said other jaw for registry within the U-shaped section 18 of said device and means, e.g. spring means urging said other jaw toward said raised member to retain said device. The tool preferably has, a pair of spaced ribs 15 positioned on said secured jaw 11 at one side of the raised member 14 for receiving a section of the holding device therebetween.
