Abstract

1501875 Underfloor distribution box DORMAN SMITH BRITMAC Ltd 22 May 1975 [29 June 1974] 28963/74 Heading H2E An underfloor distribution box 10 has a lid raiser 20 which can be adjusted by jacking screws 28 to raise the lid 45 of the box. The base 21 of the lid raiser 20 has apertures 22 and outlet plates 23 with downwardly directed rims 34 to space them above the base plate. The lid is supported on the upper slotted ends of the screws 28, on the pegs 33 and by legs 46 which rest on the base 21. The lower limbs of the legs 46 may have a layer of sound absorbing material. A segregator 35 carries the lid 45 and has flanges 37 with further jacking screws 39. The box 10 may be used for floors having a 2 inch thick screed.
