Abstract

1501250 Scraper for cleaning or discharging a conveyer belt A C PRITCHARD 21 Oct 1976 [30 Oct 1975] 44818/75 Heading B8A A scraper blade 11 for either cleaning a conveyer belt 13, or for discharging load therefrom, is mounted at each end by a radius arm 16. The latter grips the blade 11 by means of U-shaped member 22, and bolts (25) and (26) (Fig. 2, not shown). At its other end, the arm 16 has a square cross-section shank 19, mounted within a square cross-section tubular housing 14, which is rigid with an adjustment lever 21. There are resilient inserts 19 which resist relative movement between the arm 16 and the lever 21. By means of the latter, the position of the blade 11 may be adjusted relative to the belt.
