Abstract

1499771 Sliding clip assambly FOST AIR COMPONENTS Ltd 26 Jan 1976 [4 Feb 1975] 4656/75 Heading E2B A clip comprises an oblong rectangular boss 13 bearing elongate guide flange 15 and resilient jaws 21, 22. Additional flange 17 may also be provided. The clip is assembled with a T-sectioned guide channel, the flange 15 being inserted sideways through the channel mouth and the dip then rotated so that it snaps into position with the boss 13 being held by the channel mouth. The dip can be slidden along the guide after it is moved by reverse rotation to bring the shorter side of the boss within the channel mouth. Either the channel or the boss is resilient, thus permitting the clip to snap from one position to the other.
