1499155 Pneumatic tyre treads CONTINENTAL GUMMI-WERKE AG 28 Aug 1975 [4 Sept 1974] 35454/75 Heading B7C A pneumatic tyre has a tread comprising circumferentially-extending rows 1, 2, 3, 4 of blocks 5 which are separated by zig-zag or undulating grooves 7 having a width h equal to substantially half the width b of groove portions extending in the circumferential direction R, successive blocks 5 of each circumferentiallyextending row 2, 3 being offset in the transverse direction by a dimension a equal to substantially half the length measured in the transverse direction, of the blocks 5 of the circumferentially-extending rows 2, 3. As illustrated, the groove portion width b is equal to substantially two thirds of the offset dimension a. The blocks 5 have indentations 10.
