1498740 Inhibiting bacterial growth in dental appliances S-G HESSELGREN 23 Dec 1975 [20 Feb 1975] 52656/75 Heading A5G High speed dental drills or other dental surgical appliances incorporating a pipe or vessel arranged to supply liquid thereto and made of organic polymeric material, having no source of metal ions within said pipe or vessel to minimise bacterial growth within the liquid in contact with the pipe or vessel are described. The pipe or vessel is preferably made of polyethylene or nylon, the liquid is water and the source of metal ions is a copper wire longitudinally disposed in the pipe or vessel.
