Abstract

1498592 Hot wax carbon printing ink NAIGAI INK MFG CO Ltd 23 April 1976 [23 June 1975] 16671/76 Heading C4A [Also in Division D2] A hot wax carbon printing ink composition comprises a wax and a pigment, the composition having a non-ionic surface active agent and a resinous material incorporated therein respectively in concentrations of not more than 50% by weight and of not more than 10% by weight based on the total weight of the composition, provided that the composition does not include therein a volatile solvent or a silicone oil. In a modification, a portion of the non-ionic surface active agent is replaced by a polyol or its ethylene oxide adduct. The composition may additionally comprise a mineral oil. Suitable resinous materials are an ethylenevinyl acetate copolymer, phenol resin, aliphatic hydrocarbon resin, polyethylene or ethyl cellulose.
