1498101 Pharmaceutical and dentifrice compositions CENTRALA INDUSTRIALA DE MEDICAMENTE COSMETICE COLORANTI SI LACURI 26 Feb 1975 [18 July 1974] 7991/75 Heading A5B [Also in Division C3] Drugs for the prevention and treatment of lithiasis and dental tartar comprise a blend of cation exchange resin materials of sulphonic or carboxylic form, the blend containing at least four different cations. In Example, carboxylated or sulphonated styrene/divinyl benzene copolymers are treated in 4 columns in each of which a different cation is charged, and the products are then mixed and formulated into tablets, cachets or capsules with conventional binders, the different cation combinations of the Examples being as follows:- (1) H<SP>+</SP>, Na<SP>+</SP>, K<SP>+</SP>, Ca<SP>++</SP>, (2) H<SP>+</SP>, Na<SP>+</SP>, K<SP>+</SP>, Mg<SP>++</SP>, (3) H<SP>+</SP>, NH 4 <SP>+</SP>, K<SP>+</SP>, Na<SP>+</SP>, and (4) H<SP>+</SP>, Na<SP>+</SP>, K<SP>+</SP>, Mg<SP>++</SP>.
