1496762 Compost producing closet E G BILLSUND 11 Dec 1974 [11 Dec 1973] 53679/74 Heading E1C A compost producing closet includes a disc or dish rotatably mounted about a vertical axis beneath the bowl's outlet 16 so as to spread excreta around a container 4 mounted in the closet's casing 3. The container has a perforated base 21 draining to a space 20 containing an electric heater 9. The disc may also function as a ventilation fan. A guide flange may be adjustable to direct the excreta into either of two containers located in the casing. The disc may be driven either electrically (utilizing a switch 11) or mechanically.
