Abstract

1494635 Dispensing liquids W V BRALEY and R A HARMAN JR 29 Nov 1974 [30 Nov 1973] 51704/74 Heading A4T Apparatus for dispensing at least one cooled beverage from a supply stored at ambient temperature comprises a container 26 defining a cooling bath, a detachable cooling unit 15 for cooling the bath, at least one beverage conduit 27 immersed in the bath, a baffle member 28 separating entrance and exit portions of the beverage conduit 27 from a cooling conduit 20 of the cooling unit 15, and dispensing means 30 for the beverage. Respective beverage conduits may be provided for a range of drinks, and for post-mixed carbonated drinks a series of syrup cooling conduits 43-46, Fig.3, may be provided, carbonated water being supplied through branches off a common cooling conduit 41. The beverage conduits 27 are located in use within a space bounded by the cooling conduit 20, a circulating propeller 23 depending from the cooling unit 15, which is detachably supported on bolts (21), Fig. 1 (not shown). The conduits 27 may alternatively be coiled in a helical, horizontal looped or horizontally undulating form, Figs. 9-12 (not shown).
