Abstract

1494299 Amino-acid salts POLI INDUSTRIA CHIMICA SpA 1 April 1976 [2 July 1975] 13324/76 Heading C2C Salts of 2 - p - chlorophenoxy - 2 - methylpropionic acid with amino-acids of formula RNH-(CH 2 ) n -CH(NH 2 )-COOH, in which R is H or H 2 N-C(=NH)- and n is 3 or 4, are prepared by reacting the propionic acid with the amino-acid in an aqueous alcoholic medium. Pharmaceutical compositions having hyperlipimic activity for oral administration comprise a salt of the invention together with a pharmaceutical carrier.
