1492983 Coated titania PLESSEY CO Ltd 21 Jan 1975 [12 Feb 1974 19 July 1974] 6276/74 and 32047/74 Heading ClN [Also in Divisions B 1 and G2] Pentaerythritol, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene oxide or urea is adsorbed from aqueous solution on to finely divided alumina treated titania powder so that the resulting particles when suspended, for example in diethyl phthalate in an electrophoretic display device (see Division G2), exhibit increased mutually attractive forces.
