Abstract

1491761 Tooth brush with dental floss holder D H CLARK 9 Jan 1975 [14 Jan 1974] 970/75 Heading A4K [ Also in Division A5] A dental floss holder B for mounting on the handle end of a toothbrush A comprises a body having extending therefrom a pair of arms 14 with grooves 21 for supporting a strand of dental floss C, binding knobs 18 on which the ends of the strand are wound to maintain it taut, and a socket 23 for receiving the end of the toothbrush handle, the binding knobs 18 being formed integrally with the body. Runners 27 and tapering ridges 28 are provided in the socket 23 to facilitate frictional engagement of the holder with varying sizes of toothbrush handle.
