Abstract

1491246 Glazing BRITISH ALUMINIUM CO Ltd 17 Sept 1975 [20 Sept 1974] 41057/74 Heading E1R A glazing bar comprises a stem 2 and a transverse limb 3, 4 which has a shoulder, water channel 5, 6 and a glass supporting surface 7, 8 covered by resilient material 11, 12. Stem 2 has recesses 9, 10 accommodating ends of L-shaped clips 15 retaining the glass 13. The material has a convex ribbed surface and is bonded onto the surface. Alternatively the material enters a re-entrant groove in the surface (Fig. 2) or clips over the surface (Fig. 3).
