Abstract

1490001 Coated products SCOTT PAPER CO 13 Jan 1975 [18 Jan 1974] 1382/75 Heading B2E [Also in Divisions G2 and H2] A electrostatographic member comprises an insulating support, a conductive interlayer and a dielectric layer, the upper layer having a hole in a non-image area which extends at least to the interlayer and completely filling the hole with a conductive composition comprising an adhesive and a conductive pigment so that the member can be grounded. The member may have a second conductive layer on the back of the support and the hole may extend right through the member. Pressuresensitive adhesives (e.g. acetylene black) or hot-melt adhesives (e.g. styrene/butadiene copolymer, acetylene black and anti-oxidants) may be used as the composition.
