1489748 Lamps LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 4 March 1975 [14 March 1974] 11422/74 Heading F4R [Also in Division G2] A light guide comprises an elongate one-piece member of transparent material which is forked at one end to define a pair of light-conducting limbs 14, 15 of which one, 15, defines at its free end a prism 16 arranged to reflect light conducted down the limb out of the limb at an angle thereto. Light conducted down the limb 14 issues directly out of the face 17. Light enters the guide from a cable plugged into a bore 12, the concave wall of a transverse bore 13 spreading the light into the other end of the guide.
