1486739 Releasable fastening R CARTWRIGHT & CO Ltd 29 Dec 1975 [11 Feb 1975] 5706/75 Heading E2A The stop plate 26 of a door handle 10 is retained on the handle spigot 12, which is provided with flats 14 and 15, by means of ears 30, 31 which are formed by bending the plate after making cuts 28, 29. The ears 30, 31 do not extend along the whole width of the flats 14, 15 to ensure that the grip of the ears on the spigot is not weakened by rotation of the handle against the stop plate when this abuts the plate 22.
