1485591 Attaching castors COLGRYP CASTOR & PRESSINGS CO Ltd 14 May 1976 [20 May 1975] 21388/75 Heading A4U [Also in Division B3] A method of making a peg for mounting furniture castors comprises forming a collar near one end of a cylindrical blank by a cold-heading operation and forming a shoulder 5 at the other end of the blank by rolling a groove 4 in the shank of the peg. Simultaneously with the cold-heading operation, the other end of the blank is partially extruded through an open end of the cold-heading die to form a reduced portion (3) in which the groove 4 is then formed.
