1485527 Disinfecting cabinet DRAGERWERK AG 23 Dec 1974 [21 Dec 1973] 55648/74 Heading A5G A disinfecting cabinet comprises (i) a front unit 1 incorporating a front outside wall 4a, a front door 4 and various parts of disinfecting apparatus, and (ii) at least one additional unit 2 rearward of the front unit, the most rearward unit having a rear wall 3, the units being assembled together to form a substantially closed disinfecting chamber within the cabinet, and each additional unit incorporating various parts of disinfecting apparatus, the said disinfecting apparatus comprising gas circulating means for circulating gas through the chamber, e.g. device 9, and disinfectant adding means for adding a chemically acting disinfectant to the circulating gas, e.g. evaporator 14, dosaging device 6 and supply container 7. The rear wall 3 may also contain a door (not shown). The front unit 1 may contain control devices of the disinfecting apparatus, and other apparatus in the cabinet includes a gas scavenging device 10 -with inlet 12 and outlet 11 and means 18 for electrical and pneumatic connection of medical and respiratory articles to be disinfected.
