1485236 Compacting composted waste ECOLOGY PATENT AG 4 Dec 1975 [5 Dec 1974] 49849/75 Heading C1B Composted waste material is dried, passed to a mixer where nutrients and/or fertilizers are added, fed to a compactor comprising heated contra-rotating rollers, then to a flaker to break up the solid sheet thus obtained, and a cooler, the cooled particles being screened through a double screen to isolate a given particle size range and feeding this isolate to a blower to remove non-compacted material. Oversize particles are fed back from the screen to the crusher, and undersize particles are fed to the compacter.
