Abstract

1484625 Television camera LINK ELECTRONICS Ltd 7 Nov 1975 [11 Nov 1974] 48705/74 Heading H4F A television camera comprises a rigid main frame 11 attached to camera support 1 and carrying the optical system 12 of the camera, and an auxiliary frame 13 carrying electronic circuitry of the camera which is hinged to the main frame 11 for movement between the open position as shown) in which the optical system 12 is readily accessible and a closed position in which it overlies and closely surrounds the optical system 12. The major part of the electronic circuitry comprises plug-in modules 14-16 slidably engaged in frame 13. The modules 14-15 are disposed in two subframes 17 (only one shown) of the frame 13 on each side of the camera. The sub-frames are hinged to frame 13 for movement between the closed position (shown) and the open position in which their rear parts are readily accessible for servicing. Side covers 2 and 3 of the camera are hinged to the main frame 11 (shown in the open position). Each cover incorporates a cue lamp 30 (only one shown). A view finder (5, Fig. 1, not shown) is mounted on an upper rear edge of frame 13 on brackets 19 and 20.
