1483332 Packing element for fluid contacting MASS TRANSFER Ltd 31 July 1974 [30 May 1973 31 Aug 1973] 25791/73 and 41146/73 Heading B1R A packing element for gas/liquid contact comprises a pair of oppositely curved strip members connected together at their ends to form a closed structure so that the two members have substantially parallel, non-coincident planes of curvature (defined), the element having a diameter (defined) greater than its width (defined). The strips may have inwardly directed tabs or ribs and possess apertures therein.
