Abstract
The invention starts out from a first starting material having at least one mineral component and a second starting material which is an inorganic multi-component system. These two starting materials are sintered together. A typical first starting material is, for example, an apatite. The second starting material can be a glass or sintered glass. The composite material obtained can be used in medical technology, in particular for osteosyntheses.
