1477789 Iris diaphragm FUJI PHOTO OPTICAL CO Ltd 28 Nov 1975 [17 May 1975] 49083/75 Heading G2J In an iris diaphragm one of the blades 1, Fig. 4, has an additional area 2 separated from the main blade 5 by a slit. The arrangement is such that the adjacent blade 10 is sandwiched between the normal and additional parts of blade 1. Upon closing the diaphragm the additional portion 2 closes off the small central aperture before bunching of the overlapping blades becomes excessive.
