Abstract
1476739 Filter circuits COMPAGNIE D'ELECTRONIQUE ET DE PIEZOELECTRICITE CEPE 30 Oct 1974 [31 Oct 1973 47041/74 Heading H3U A bridged-T filter circuit comprises: a horizontal arm comprising a parallel connection of a capacitor C 2 and two serially-connected inductances L 1 ; a vertical arm comprising a capacitor C 1 ; a resonant circuit connected in parallel with either the horizontal arm, Fig. 2, or the vertical arm, Fig. 3; and a bridging inductance L 2 with a value determined, by means of a given relationship, by the load impedance Z of the filter. The resonant circuit may be constituted by a piezoelectric resonator Q. Alternatively or in addition the resonant circuit may be connected to the associated arm by means of an impedance-matching transformer T 1 , Fig. 5; in one such arrangement, Fig. 8, the bridging inductance L 2 constitutes the primary winding of the transformer. The characteristic of the filter (Fig. 1, not shown) is a wide pass-band containing a relatively narrow stop-band centred at the resonant frequency of the resonant circuit.
