Abstract

1475999 Vented plug ARCHIBALD KENRICK & SONS Ltd 30 Aug 1974 [30 Oct 1973] 50506/73 Heading B8T [Also in Division B7] A vent plug is formed by a cylindrical spigot 12 and a solid circular head 11, the spigot 12 having a vent 13 extending through the major part of the spigot to a position spaced from the head. A preferred form of the spigot 12 has lengthwise spaced, resilient annular wedgeshaped protrusions 14, 15, which extend around the spigot 12 on both sides of the vent 13. The distance between the protrusions 14, 15, and the distance between the bottom of the head 11 and the protrusion 15, is preferably equal to the depth of a wheel rim 16. The plug may be injection moulded of high density polyethylene.
